First steps have been taken by Kathleen to investigate the possibility of having a memorial to the women who suffered in the witch trials at Colchester Castle. She reports that the initial response has been positive. A formal written approach will need to be made to the Curator explaining the need for a memorial and what kind of memorial would be appropriate.

The Essex Witch Trial Memorial Society will hold its first meeting at Victoria's house on the 28th February at 8pm to discuss the way forward, ideas for a memorial and fundraising.
